These pictures were taken on the evening of July 24th, 2010, by Ed Price at Dundee, Missouri.

The ominous dark cloud was like a black drape on the landscape and exaggerating the blackness of the ground below. Between these wedges of black is what was left of a beautiful blue evening sky.

The first and second photo are looking East down the Missouri River, much in line with the normal cam view, as you can note the familiar Chitwood Bluff along the landscape.

The next two photos are looking east-southeast, or panning to the right of the first two photos.

For anyone who is unfamiliar with storms in the Midwest that can literally pop-up with little notice, welcome to our world. We are always keeping an eye to the sky.

Thanks Ed (my dear Dad) for your photos. Glad you shared them with the rest of us.
