Currently on display at the Washington Historical Society Museum is an exhibit about the Washington Turn Verein.
The exhibit tells the story of the Turn Verein's history and of its founder Franz Wilhelmi. The exhibit contains
many outstanding photos and artifacts including the Civil War swords and pistol owned by Wilhelmi, Captain of Co.
G of Missouri's 17th “Turner Rifle Regiment”.
